Healing Harm, Restoring Relationships, Building Community

Ready to explore the transformative power of Restorative Justice? Whether you’re an experienced professional seeking to deepen your expertise or someone curious about embracing a more humane approach to justice, our training is designed for you!

Restorative Justice begins with the understanding that every person matters. Those who have been harmed need opportunities to be heard, supported, and involved in what happens next. Those responsible need opportunities to understand the impact of their actions, take meaningful responsibility, and work toward repairing the harm.

From hurt within families, schools, and workplaces to the profound harm caused by serious crime, restorative approaches invite us to respond with greater care, understanding, and accountability. They have a place wherever people live, learn, work, and make decisions together—including community organizations, law enforcement, and government.

More info and registration starts on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3.

‍ ‍ WELCOME TO “THE PACT PROJECT” - Peace Action Community Team

“I am so impressed by the PACT Program. Having a community-based conflict resolution model is invaluable. This model not only helps residents resolve conflicts, but it also helps build community, create stronger bonds, and encourage professional development. I am excited to see how this program continues to spread through our city.”‍ ‍Brittany Coleman, Gun Violence Intervention Program Manager, City of Gainesville

River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding (RPCP) in Gainesville, Florida, has developed a grassroots neighborhood initiative designed to build trust, resolve conflicts, and enhance public safety through non-police, community-based interventions and restorative justice practices.

The River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding takes the approach of addressing conflict and violence with a continuum of prevention, intervention and restorative strategies involving youth and adult populations, including those healing from the otherwise lasting impact of trauma.
